Dear Maspeth Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! It has been wonderful seeing and greeting your children over the past few days. Rest assured, your children are in loving hands with educators who are committed to teaching, supporting and keeping them safe every step of the way.
At Maspeth High School, we offer a rich curriculum that balances classical education with culturally relevant content. We have a wide range of clubs and athletic teams that allows each student to explore their interests. Please encourage your child to get involved - our school is their home away from home, and we strive to know each student both academically and personally.
This year, we are excited to introduce our new phone-free school initiative. This program is designed to help students stay focused, engaged, and present in their daily learning and social interactions. We believe that by limiting distractions, we can create a more enriching and inclusive environment where students thrive.
