The Maspeth HS Blood Drive, is an ongoing success in providing life saving blood donations for New Yorkers who are critically ill, in accidents and urgently need transfusions.  

 

On Thursday 9th January, 2025, 8:30am-1pm in the Auditorium, the NYS Blood Center and Healing Sciences Club will host the Spring Blood Drive.

 

⇒Save 3 lives when you donate 1 Pint blood. 

⇒Plasma donations can save 5 lives

 

Students, Parents and Staff, please consider donating to help patients in hospitals across the tri-State region.

⧫16-year-olds need parental permission which can be picked up in the Main Office or printed above, filled out with parents' approval and brought in on 1/9/25.  

⧫17- and 18-year-olds can donate independently.  Please have your school's id card.

 

All students donating will receive:

→5 Community Service Hours  

→Certificate of Participation, 

→opportunity to participate in the Young Scientist Program at the NY Blood Center. 

→Seniors may be eligible for $500 scholarships if we meet donation goals.
