About Us
The Maspeth Green Club meets on Wednesdays from 2:45 to 3:45 in advisor Mr. Aaron Bell's room (328) and is open to all students. Aiden Walsh is the Club President. Maspeth High School is one of a few schools nationwide to be recognized as a Green Flag School under the National Wildlife Federation's Eco-Schools Program. The Green Club has secured over $60,000 in grant money as a result of sustainability efforts since the club’s founding in 2011. Maspeth High School is a five-time Golden Apple Award winner and two-time Zero Waste Award winner.
